Game Overview

Bugbane is a side-scrolling action-adventure game that follows the journey of Aldo, a young man who wakes up to the gruesome scene of his parents' murder by deadly insects. Discovering his immunity to their bites, he embarks on a relentless quest for vengeance and a desperate search for a mysterious girl. Players will navigate a city in ruins, battling swarms of insects.

Story

In the year 2050 Aldo is a 17-year-old boy who woke up to both of his parents lying dead, their guts already devoured by a bunch of insects. He then discovered that he was immune to their bites after getting bit by one of them. When he got up on his feet and walked out of his house, he stumbled upon a beautiful yet mysterious girl, desperately fleeing from an army of insects. Aldo, now determined to protect her and avenge his parents, he embarked on a journey through a city plagued by insects.
